    I got this helmet about a year ago from a friend. he had traded a box of Canadian army rations for store credit and decided out of the blue to buy this helmet and give it to me. All i know is it is Swedish and possibly as old as the first world war any other information is much appreciated

    model 1918 - produced and used from 1918 till mid-1970s - 3 sub models - yours is the middle WWII era.

    I like it too. You'll find them often on Ebay for around $60-$70.

    'Right place/right time' in my case - I don't see them
    at shows for $20 anymore.........

    What are the differences between the three models? I have one with a named tag inside, but it looks like the tag is pretty new...
