I would appreciate your help with the ID of this M33 helmet.
Not sure if Italian. It appears to be war period (just based on the liner)
What would this be?

yes, it does look like the Italian M33, but appears to have a post war repaint? and the air vents are not the usual rivets, they looked stamped?

Probably Bulgarian militia, or Air force.
Bulgarian helmets are nearly identical to m33's but with flat rivets and a slightly reduced peak. the nicer quality leather is surprising.

Aye, it definitely looks like an M33. My knowledge on these is very limited but the liner looks war era.
