    looks like they used unhusked rice for packing material? thats kind of unusual

    well done battle gear on the positive identification you certainly know your onions and rice nice parcel to open too reibert ,these were available in the uk a few years back but since dryed up ,when i see these i cant help but think of the IJA type 90 helmet when worn with the havelock field cap

    I´m, not really collecting helmets but I asked an collectors mate of mine, (he´s working several month´s in China every year), to send me some of them, (wanna keep one of them and two of them are for trade, if some of you guy´s is interested ? ).
    He did me the favour and sent me the parcel kindly.

    He wrote to me, this pattern helmet is designated M1965 1st pattern actually.
