Militaria fair finds M1 helmet covers

Article about: Hi all bought these at a local militaria fair... I went looking for a Belgian jigsaw pattern cover and a U.S. woodland cover for my 1956 West German shell made by Quisk ..... still no luck w

    I agree, nice finds! the ERDL camo cover with art work is interesting, late VN war era, many can be seen in use during the last days or Fall of Saigon, I have one with a 1969 contract date.

    Nice period pics BG !!! unfortunately the date on the ERDL is too faded to make out!!...but whilst looking for the date I found some more graffiti!! looks like *****ABLE ??? (FLAMMABLE??????) or just ABLE ie company!!??? also the date stamps for the two Mitchel covers and another I have had for a while (see pics)
