Sorry Col James, it could be an Air Force helmet aswell. Possibly the navy helmets have a darker blue. Not quit sure. But I really think it's Navy.

Also possible is that it is a Belgian UN helmet.

It would be Air Force, Navy lids are much a darker blue/green. Color is off to be a UN Helmet. From the pictures at least.

The liner, lacks the tricolour and is a VB (VerBliFa) for the Dutch Air force. The shell might well be a Belgian Air Force lid. These were not marked. Is the inside marked with other capitals? GD/RW, ABL, ZM/FN?

THe navy lid would be a dark blue, so as most have stated, the shell is Air Force. I believe the Air Force helmets were designated as T21 vs the M51 of the other branches.
