Helmet in use by iraqi army during the first and the second war of the Gulf. It is made of Corlon, a ballistic fibre similar to kevlar. It was made in Iraq but was based on a South Korean model. It has a desert light tan camo paint and camo net.

nice helmet, this is the IRAQI Model 90

I also have one in my collection

Steven M.: A buddy of mine (now since passed on) came back from the first sandbox and brought back some items he eventually gave to me. One was a gas mask and case, which I discarded once I was reminded that gas was used in that region and some other people who brought back gasmasks suddenly received strange rashes and such. Second item was a AK-47 bayonet, which I still have. Third is a helmet almost exactly like the one you show. All this time I thought it was just the liner! Thanks all for setting me straight that it is the actual helmet. If anyone is interested in seeing these two pieces, let me know. Now I pause to salute all troopers who were down there, 1991 and 2003. Salute!
