This is my first thread on this forum!
I am looking for help with a stamp on the crown of my French M51 (Mle 51) Helmet.
I know that Franck and Dunois made shells for the French Mle 51 Helmet, and they left their marks on the shell. I have a Mle 51 that has S.A.U.F. on the shell. Who made this shell?
Is there a Website I can go to for the stamps on my Helmet?

    Thanks

    Hello,
A nice example. I really like the French clones.
Shell made by SAUF Paris. They only made shells in 1953.
Interesting that 'SAUF' translates to 'EXCEPT' in English. I can't find any other information about the company.

Here is a another good web page for M51 markings:

    Best regards,
