I think it looks ok , is there any other ink stamps on the liner ?

All I have are these pictures. I thought that the liner was supposed to be leather.
I really don't know for sure. Maybe they also used cloth.

As far as i know they used also cloth liners

This is a Japanese Type 90 Civil Defense Helmet and not a type 90 IJA helmet. If you are looking for a civil helmet then it looks fine IMO.

They look quite similar, but the liner is a dead giveaway. This should help you, Request Rejected

Nice link Adam!

Anton: Besides the liner, the Civil helmets (and there are a number of variations I think) have a more pronounced flare on the rim all the way around. I will have to check mine out but I think the steel is thinner as well (but could be wrong on this)
