Russian spetnartz titanium helmet or is it?

I purchased this helmet in 1991. I have been told that it was a trial run of titanium helmets for russian special forces but was discontinued because of cost.the black attachment is for my night vision optic. I apologize for not taking the helmet covers etc off. I am puting this up for the members to see and comment if they wish. Came with a white and vegetation cammo covers [2]
