do you know what other countries used the Swedish M37 / 65 ? I wonder if they exported any to the middle east?

I know that the "new" Estonian Army was issued with Swedish M37/65 helmets in the 1990's and I believe that during WW2, the Danish Army troops that escaped into Sweden were issued M37 helmets as well. I think that these helmets were also used by a number of other countries, but I'm not sure right off which ones they are. I'll do some checking and get back with a posting of what I can dig up.

I have no idea what other countries, besides Finland, that used the M/37 after the war. However the Danes, with the help of the Swedish government formed DANFORCE in Sweden during WWII (1943-45). The members of the "Danish Brigade in Sweden" were issued with M/37 helmets, and they were worn during the summer of 1945. DANFORCE never saw any real action, except from some NAZI henchmen and HIPO they fought in northern Zealand and Copenhagen. The soldiers from the Brigade was demobbed when the first conscripts were drafted.
