No, it is not an M18/63. Those were military specification helmets - though also used by fire, police and other civil organisations - and your helmet is a lighter weight (aluminium rather than steel) shell with a simplified liner especially produced for civil defence use. Correct specification is M46 CD, in use between the later 1940s and late 1990s (probably still around really). Quck identification note - NO Swiss M18 series shells were made with visible rivets. Good buy for 13USD though. Nice helmet.
