Default Japanese Field Phone Batteries Scam?

There is a listing in the classified ads for reproduction Japanese field phone batteries. I bit and ordered a set over a month ago since they looked pretty good and I have not seen an original for sale.
I have not received them and the guy will not reply to emails any longer. Did anyone else order any? Buyer beware.

I remember this thread when he first showed up. I thought how great it would be for someone who has one of these field phones and would need one to get it operational.

Sorry to here that it turned out being a scam.
I hope that there was some unforeseen reason for the delay and he does come through for you.

It looks like member bestmsdt (last activity 03-04-2020 02:52 PM)sent him a PM on 1-28-20..But it didn't go through and he may have emailed him. Maybe contact him to see if he had the same experience or maybe got a phone number for Mr Patrick Phillips

I will give the member 1 day to respond, and then I will send a message directly to their e-mail.

Hopefully its not a scam and possibly something may have happened to the seller.
I cant see someone going to the trouble of scamming people for $20+

Alot of wasted energy on the sellers part ..but time will tell.

The seller did respond and refund me the money. I do not believe to be a scam at this point. He stated he was having trouble with production. May be available in the future. Thank you for the help.
