Description: Authentic Third Reich Eastern Front Medal with original ring and ribbon. This came from an elderly woman's estate in northern Virginia, USA whose father was a high-ranking official in the Third Reich. The entire estate, including the furniture, was antique and vintage German. She relocated to the States after the war when she married a US soldier and brought many of her family items with her - paintings of her father in uniform and many medals including this one. Unfortunately, I do not know the family's name, what happened to her father, exactly how she came here, or anything else about them.
