Default 2nd BN Monmouthshire Regiment OR's cap 1909

Not one you see often, an OR's dress/forage cap from pre WWI. Condition is pretty good, a little bit of mothing and the chinstrap is broken, but nothing I can't live with on a 105 year old cap. A very welcome addition to my Welsh collection. Unit marked to the 2nd Battalion the Monmouthshire Regiment and dated 09 for 1909.

I like the "flat" appearance of these pre WW1 caps.

    Once again a nice addition.

    Cheers, Ade.
