    Default Anyone for a cuppa

I saw these the other day and went back to buy them today. The mugs are all in a poor condition, but at 95 years old not really a surprise and they are still so evocative of the times, commemorating the end of the Great War.

The teapot is in very good condition apart from a bit of rubbing to the luster glaze and as it dates from 1914 is a wonderful survivor. I like the fact that it appears that they adapted an item already part way through production, with the flowers on one side and the early war flags of the original 4 allies on the other. A really good pick up in this the 100th anniversary of the start of the Great War.

Thanks to all. Obviously I was very pleased to get them, the teapot in particular because of its condition but mostly because of its 1914 date. I don't often see the early pieces, while the end of war items are quite common.
