    Forget the postman, I went to fetch it my self! Couldn't wait to get thise very nice uniform of a major at the 7 th ligne infantery regiment who fought both wars.
    With his trench coat and I supose his helmet...but not sure.
    They are hard to find these days!

    did you get his drum as well? any chance of some detail pics of the helmet Kris?

    The drum was part of the lot....who knows....!? ;-)
    Thanks for your intrest Jerry, and sorry for replying thise late!
    I took some extra pic's and finally found maker marks (BMR 1943), it also seems the helmet have been repainted at some point.
    But I am almost shure the helmet must habe belonged to the same person.
    And it was its destiny to come to me, it is marked in chalk CK ; my initials!! ;-) ;-)
    Just joking, it could be CR or CH....
