    Default British WW1 Button?

    Hi Guys,

We've been digging around in the museum recently and came across a button that no one can identify.

I'm assuming due to its style and condition that it is WW1 period?

Any help would be greatly appreciated as usual!

Hi. It appears to be a button from the uniform of the Queen's Bodyguard of the Yeoman of the Guard, although it appears to be missing its shamrock to the right of the rose. Don't know about date, but as it is using the King's crown, it could be anywhere between 1902 and 1953.
