I don't believe they are what is called trench art, but are one persons body of work representing his experience of his military service in France. While not being considered exteremely valuable they are well worth being preserved. Nice save.

Nice finds! It seems to me that in old times people were much more talented. Just look at the 100 years old handwriting, engraving or anything else.

Nice rescue from the dump, a pity if they were destroyed.

The ink-drawing of the officer seated at the table with the candles seems very accomplished. Are they all signed by the same artist?

Hi I don't think there is any harm in replacing the glass Darren. They are very nice things to have and are worth much more historically than financially. Maybe you could a little research on Mr Curzon. Has he written any regiment details at all or his army number by any chance?

These may not be valuable but they are historically important pieces of artwork drawn at the time during which i would assume was a lull in the fighting or a rear echelon area, very worth while keeping and preserving
