Early usmc badge please help identify

My uncle was a Marine and a collector, and he gave me these badges. I do not know anything about them except that they are early. They look like possibly hat badges? Please let me know if you have any information about them.

Hello this is an uncommon marine badge, This dates to about span-am/indian war I believe that this is worn on the campaign hat,
