    You box have special markings like on this one.

    So the shells are without light, during night fire, there was short flames from the piece.

    Great info,so it is from WW1.
    Would this be a rare box?

    never saw it but I don't collect Fench, I ask to a colleague, specialist in boom boom!

    I also do not collect ww1 French items,but It was given to me a long time ago .
    I always like the look of it so I keep it all those years.
    Came from France with me.
