Thanks all, I have been very lucky that the family (mainly grandma ) saved so much, I have recorded all I know about these so when I shuffle off my mortal coils my daughter can pass them down the family line, granddad and dad did so much to ensure I have lived a peaceful life and I don't want the sacrifice's they made forgotten.
    all the best,
    JOhn.
