Medal Militaire Box

Hello everyone, I hope everyone's summer is going well. I just picked up this Medal Militaire with its box and i Love it. but theres something peculiar about it. according to my research the suspension is a Type III. the other thing is the box it came with. it doesn't seem to belong to the medal but it still looks vintage. a friend and i were comparing it to a box that goes with a non military french naval MOH.

you can find several models of box for the "Médaille Militaire"
here is an example:

another box with a "Croix de Guerre" in it, so this example is a mistake

I think yours is a general purpose for medals, I suppose that depends from the manufacterer
