    Corporal Wateridge was also awarded the Military Medal for service with the 9th Battalion in Salonika. He was presented the ribbon (in lieu of the actual medal) on 16th October 1916. He was later awarded the Medal of St. George 3rd Class, a Russian award.

    He must have got his Russian medal before the revolution as they were no longer accepted by the British after then.
