Never have been much of a medal collector, but that is changing since a couple of years.
The LH never was on list, for some reason, but the second empire (used from 1852 to 1871) one is something else to me.
It bears the profile of Bonaparte and the first empire eagle.
Totaly different from the one in use now....
The one I got has some dammage, but I like it never the less.
I posted it twice because I can't get rid of the shadow when taking the pic of the reverse on the right side...
    cheers

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

Very nice one, but maybe stupid question:
Are theses LH are really search by collectors ?
And is there specific items who more search ?

    Thanks.
I guess they are not so popular with collectors, you can get them quiet cheap.
Just like the chocolate medal... Saint Helena medal
