    hello again, i got this for 10 dollars and neither i or the guy i bought it from has any idea what it is. it appears to be complete. he suggested that it may be a british WWI bandolier. it definately has pouches for stripper clips. i would appreciate any help

    Hi mate.

    Whoever told you he thought that it was a WW1 Briish bandolier was correct.

    You have a 1903 ptn leather bandolier for mounted use. It was still on issue to some personnel into about 1941 (ish)
    There should be a War Dept arrow and date stamp on it somewhere.

    BTW, it looks to be in very good condition as well.
