Article about: I agree - #5 is a slice of railway track. Looks like it may be a fairly small guage. #1 is a British/US compass, albeit a broken one.........

    #7 is part of a German (Prussian) pickelhaube front plate; the right claw of the eagle!
    #13 a button of the French Foreign Legion.

    the button with number 13 is french: 13ème Régiment de Ligne, just before WW1

    Could be Belgian as well , as we used the same buttons.Any makers marks on the back??

    The writing on the back is very unclear but I believe it says "Augfon On Br Elles"

    It is palm sized. A piece of train track would fit the situation.
