I picked this up yesterday whilst on a trip to Cardiff. I don't see the china side caps very often and it was a sensible price. It goes nicely with my other crested ware items and of course the SD cap I have already. Interestingly it is for the Isle of Man whilst the other cap is for the Isle of White. I'll have to try and get a Tommy helmet and a Colonial hat to make a set, hopefully all from other islands.

Thanks Matt. As I mentioned, I don't see the side caps for sale, so it was a must buy for me and not too expensive.

It's a wasted trip baby. Nobody said nothing about locking horns with no Tigers.

I love that "Crest China" I am looking for a fairly priced Mills and the WW1 British Tank for my collection..but they are getting expensive these days.

I was sorry to hear about his passing. It hardly registered on the news, sadly.

The good thing about crested wear caps, helmets, guns, and armour is that they don't suffer from moth or rust!
