    I haven't seen one before and I wonder if the other two medals were enamelled as well.

    A first for me too. Very Interesting. Looks like somebody wanted to stand out from the crowd. I have a vague recollection of seeing one that had been chromed. You might want to try posting it on the British Medal Forum. Cheers.

    I have the Victory Medal as well...but it's just a regular issue, and the rim is incredibly scuffed. I almost left it in the display case at the antique shop.I didn't think they were a pair because they were on opposite ends of the display case. I had to spend a few minutes shining up my glasses so I could read the rim, and I'm glad I did.

    I thought this was the right place to post? Which sub forum do you mean Spitace41?

    The photograph doesn't do the colours justice. When I first saw it, I thought it was some sort of sweet heart pin. It really is interesting.

    I have seen chrome plated examples but I do not remember seeing an enameled version previously, very cool. I would assume it was period done, same as the chrome ones were.
