Orginal WW1 wool Trench Cap?

Hello Gentlemen i would like some opinions on this wool WW1 British trench cap I like the oil cloth interior but i have never seen a size stamp on a cloth sweat band. Your thoughts are greatly welcomed.

sorry I can't help, not a cap type I have direct knowledge of, lots of very good copies out there these days

It looks OK, but at £425 you want to make sure that you can return it in the event of it being a wrong 'un'. These are always better examined in hand.
