    I've never been able to get a bloody note out of it... Which on reflection is probably as well!

    Potters were quite a well known maker of military musical instruments I think and I remember your bugle by the same maker.

    These instruments don't have a reed, its just the lack of technique on my part - although I can now (almost) get the 'Last Post' out of my Henry Potter bugle, much to the annoyance of my neighbour!
