    Default Pre WW1 Unidentified Badge???

Hello I picked this up from a local flea market, I have never seen anything like it. The enamel appears to be hand applied leading me to believe that it is from the late 1800s or early 1900s. I know nothing about it if anyone has any info on it I would be very great full thanks for your time Sean

I'm not sure either but could it be a WW1 ruptured duck?

With the position of the wings and the head pointed up like it is, it looks quite similar to a "Phoenix"...
