Really nice find, Todd! . You have a few of these WW1 groupings don't you?
That's an outstanding grouping. You can't beat the doc's and pic to boot. Congrat's
Thanks, Luke and Phil. I do have a few groupings. That's pretty much what I buy when it comes to WWI uniforms. I like putting names and faces with uniforms. Gives it a more personal touch in the collection.
A sweet pick up, great to see such groups can still be found.
Whatever its just an opinion.
Nice find at the antique store! Pretty cool that the paperwork and picture managed to stay with the tunic and hat after all this time.
A very nice grouping. Rob.
Nice clean model 1918, visible pockets, wool tunic and cotton kaki summer tunic. Later mdl.1918s had interior pockets to conserve material. check under the bottom of the interior lining of the wool tunic to see if it still has a QM tag.
Musicians tunics are hard to find.
With the ID and accompanying provenance you have with them you did very well.
Always good to see a face to the name , nice score !
Thanks for all of the compliments. Steve, the tag is log gone. The stitching is still there but tag is gone.
