    Quoted from
    Ignore the condition report,
Very scarce item , I've only seen a few myself .

"A very rare example of a dagger by the famous London Gunmaker Cogswell & Harrison. In good condition (no scabbard) with a blade length just under 8”. The blade has an unusual convex grind similar to that of a Wilkinson Shakespear knife and is etched ‘’Cogswell & Harrison Ltd Gun Makers London’, although faded still just readable. The robust blade although showing patina appears to be fully length and undamaged. The grip and cross-guard are nice and tight and are in very good condition. The pommel does have some initials scratched into the wood. The date of this knife is unclear but I suspect from the WWI period. This exact knife is featured in Ron Flook’s excellent book ‘The London Knife Book’ and can be seen on page 42 (plate 32). A rare opportunity to acquire an exceptionally rare example by this desirable London gunmaker which has been featured in ‘the’ book on this topic.
