    forgive me my ignorance, I know that it is called World War I , but I didn't know Portugal was involved.
    One is never to old to learn!

    Hi Kris, yes we were, portuguese troops were posted in two fronts, france, angola and mozambique.
    In france we were about 50000 strong, and 3000+ protecting the colonies.

    Of course, Afrika must have been a pain point for the Germans and a reason to involve Portugal.
