US M1917 helmet

Hello, just got this WW1 US helmet today (paid £70), as I'm not very familiar with these helmets any comments would be welcome.

That is the classic U.S. doughboy lid ca. 1917....rough textured OD, broken strap, and suffering from dry rot / bug damage like many.

Looks fine to me. I had one with a painted decal for sometime, but had to part with it.
