WW1 77th jacket

Was at an antique sale today and picked up this WW1 77th division jacket along with a nice WW11 hell on wheels Ike jacket ,uniform ,and crusher cap( uniform and cap are post war occupation forces). The lady that sold it to me was unloading her van and I saw the jackets and the hat still inside . So I asked her how much for all of the items and she said $75.00. Seeing that I'm posting the jacket you can guess I bought the items.

Great tunic from the photos it looks quite large. What size is it? it seems like most of the WWI uniforms I have are small.

The 302nd was a 77th Div. engineer outfit. If they were associated with trains as the T collar tab indicates that is a hard uniform to find.
The shoulder patch, which is French made, bullion and silk, is worth twice what you paid for all the stuff.
You made a very good find.

Steve I'm glad you like the uniform. I have done a little research into the 302nd from the 77th. Commanding general: Maj. Gen. J. Franklin Bell, Aug. 18, 1917 to May 18, 1918; Maj. Gen. Geo. B. Duncan, May 18 to Aug. 24, 1918; Brig. Gen. Evan M. Johnson, Aug. 24 to Aug. 31, 1918; Maj. Gen. Robert Alexander, Aug. 31 to Nov. 11, 1918.
The units comprising the 77th Division were as follows: 153d, 154th Inf. Brigs., 305th, 306th, 307th, 308th Inf. Regts., 305th Machine Gun Bn., 152d Arty Brig., 304th, 305th, 306th Arty. Regts., 302d Trench Mortar Battery, 304th Div. Machine Gun Bn., 302d Engr. Regt. And Train, 302d Fld. Sig. Bn., 302d Train Hqs. And M.P., 302d Supply Train, 302d Amm. Train, 302d Sanitary Train (305th, 306th, 307th, 308th Amb. Cos. And Field Hospitals). Gary
