    Default WW1? British? Helmet

    I recently bought this helmet at an antiques store. It has "HS 472" stamped on the inside rim. Any info (is it British, is it WW1 era) on this helmet would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    HS is Hadfields, Sheffield.

    472 is the batch number.

    Nice liner....I'd guess it's 1916 or 1917.

    it's more 1918, the rubber donut in the crown is the last major mod of this type before the end of the war
