WW1 Brodie Helmet?

My husband just inherited this helmet and we are trying to find out more about it. Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

your helmet is a WWI British made shell [missing the liner]

FKS is a British maker and it also has the split rivets for the chin strap loops thats another clue it's of British origin.

it's worth around $30 as is without a liner

I also would!They were used by Polish units during the Polish-Soviet war like in the picture.

I just sold 4 like that for $25 each and they didnt sell very fast

without liners, but mine were US made M1917 shells, some still had straps and partial liner
