WW1 Brodie Helmet.

This is the only helmet in my collection, but I am hoping to add a nice m16 in the future, just waiting for the right one to turn up.
Its a brodie Mk 1 size 7 1/4, made by Hutton with steel supplied by Vickers,its marked HV over 505, there is also the faint outline of another number,perhaps the owners "166007".The Brodie patent mark is inside the oilskin liner, there is no chinstrap and the leather is very brittle but it will still make a nice display piece.
