I recently came across, what I believe is a WW1 French poster that is mounted and framed. Without taking it apart, It seems to be mounted on some sort of wood backing and very old framing. I have seen copy reproductions of this poster but I don't know much about how to tell if it is authentic and any other interesting facts of this type of photo. I've tried to research the artists name, Maurice Neumont with little luck. As you can see in the photos the poster is in pretty good shape with only a couple edges exposed. The poster is approximately 47"X31 1/2".
Any information, thoughts and comments are greatly appreciated.
