WW1 Great War M1917 U.S. Doughboy Helmet

Here I have a U.S. WW1 helmet. You can see that the bales are held in place with rivets not split pins like British models. The helmet is marked ZC 179 and is marked on the oil skin liner R.H. LONG -18 which I assume to be 1918 made as they ceased production November 1918 so I have read. These helmets were used right up until the 1930's. The helmet is marked with the number 91 in four different places on the helmet in a reddish orange colour (wax or chalk?) the helmet for its age is in great shape. Please add anything I may have missed and I thank you for looking

Great looking M1917. I'm loving the textured finish that it still has on it.
