ww1 pilots jacket?

Article about: hi I bought this on sunday and it just arrived I know little about it but the last person who owned it speculated that it could have been worn by a pilot in ww1 as far as german or american

    hi I bought this on sunday and it just arrived I know little about it but the last person who owned it speculated that it could have been worn by a pilot in ww1 as far as german or american I dont know. the guy said that when he got it it came with another overcoat which was a german ww2 luftwaffe overcoat and this one was marked as ww2 german overcoat but the button makers on the inside say "for gentlemen" which according to him was a british coat company and he also believed it was made around ww1 some help would be great thanks!

    It is not US WWI aviation.

    Sorry not British Aviation. I don't think it is even military at all IMO.

    Looks like 1960's or 70's era. The buttons are plastic and the only one
    with any imformation on it is a replacement, IMO.........

    yea i forgot to mention the seller said all of the buttons have been replaceds at one point or another
    also I personaly believe its older than the 60's because alot of it is falling apart and it has more wear and usage on it than anything from the 60's although it didnt photograph very well
