    Somewhere I have a record set put out by the Canadian CBC in the 60s, it is all interviews with WW1 Canadian Veterans

    Interesting.

    Being from Nottinghamshire, I listed to the recording of a man from the county.

    I think regional accents are starting is disappear now.

    One guy sounded like a modern Australian accent, i cant recall from what County..its a remarkable insight,and i just love the innocents and honesty in the way it was achieved..imagine if Nazis asked a bunch of POWs to sing songs and poetry
