To think that some body made this, nearly 100 hundred years ago

It's sitting here next to my computer screen, I have a little play with this brass tank now and then, and blow the dust off it

I wonder if the sides of the tank were used as a match striker?

It's quite heavy too!

That might be a splash mark from a HESH round.
