One of my eternal regrets was not buying a copy of the below print when I saw one (I was a teenager then & not that interested) at a local flea market. It was quite large and I have never viewed another copy. So, when I saw the cigar company's cartoon version I did not quibble about.

I love that painting, I was thinking of having a postcard size version of it made in order to add it to my display piece. Where did you find the poster, was it online? Have you done any research on it to determine who created it?
Some good images of 27th Division's items here O'RYAN'S ROUGHNECKS - REGIMENTAL HISTORY I believe the print came in three versions a newspaper double page black & white version, a higher quality black and white version, and the shared color version. The one I saw was the higher quality black and white version. I've never done any searches to determine the artist and publication that produced it.

I've never noticed this before, but on the reverse side of the US WW1 Victory medal, the list of allied nations is a little incomplete, a few "missed the cut", lack of space perhaps.
