Default WWI First Army Uniform Grouping

I am happy to present my first uniform purchase of any branch, any service and from any war, and I'm happier than a pig in slop to have it in the collection. A WWI 1st Army Signal Corp grouping, named to the veteran. I bought it at an antique mall a few weeks ago. The real stunner is the M1917 helmet that came with it in almost mint, unworn condition, which had me thrilled cuz I'm a helmet kinda guy I'll let the photos do the talking. I hope you like this grouping.

    First up is the tunic:

Maaate, she's a beauty! That lid is a stunner too, probably the best first war lid I've seen actually, it looks like it was made yesterday!

Everything is tip top, I would be so pleased with that

Thank you for the compliments! It is a gem of a set!
Does anyone know what the two ribbons on the ribbon bar (in the accessory section) are for? I have searched the trusty Google and have not found anything. If you know, please, let me know. Thanks.

I could be wrong but I believe the ribbon on the left was given by the Veterans of Foreign Wars for WWI service. There was a similar one given after WWII also. The colors represented all of the Allied countries who fought together. The ribbon on the right is a standard Veterans of Foreign Wars Medal which was given to the vets upon thier return home.

Nice grouping by the way. Love the shoulder patch with the signal corps on it.

    Thanks
    Burt
