WWI US canvas belt?

Article about: Hello Guys! I bought this belt, but I have no idea about it's origin. Some old US belts have the same striped canvas, but that's all I found. Could you help me to identify it? It's 5,9 cm ~

    Default WWI US canvas belt?

    Hello Guys!

I bought this belt, but I have no idea about it's origin. Some old US belts have the same striped canvas, but that's all I found.
Could you help me to identify it? It's 5,9 cm ~ 2.3' wide.

    Thank you!

Never saw anything like this at all.. My guess is it was either a modified belt for civilian use by a veteran, or it is just a civilian belt that happens to share the same canvas pattern. Wait for the real experts, though!

Thank you! It came with a huge military lot which contains assorted specialities. So it should be army equipment.

Could've belonged to a veteran, too?

I think no, came from a sold military antiques shop.
