This is an original German WWII M35 helmet that was a relic that I took and tried to clean up and tried to give it a camo look. With the pitting and the condition it gave it character. I sanded the helmet to get the excess rust off and put a rust inhibitor on it. I put rust primer on it and then painted it with the rust oleum paint. I put the decals on and put a few coats of lacquer on top. This is supposed to be a camo pattern that was used after Normandy in the low countries but the paints are not exact.
