Description: Hi, selling this helmet. It's a hkp 66, with Lot number 3492. Brian Ice's research put's that at around Sept/ Oct 1943, making it one of the earliest no-decals, hence it may have seen more combat than some of the later made examples.

It has a size 59cm steel/ zinc liner marked "66na 59" on one side (na - neues Art/ i.e New style), and on other side "DRP 1940 Schuberth Werke K-G, Braunschweig" (DRP = Deutsches Reichs Patent - Schuberth was the original manufacturer and Patent holder of the M31 type liner). It did not come with a chinstrap when I bought it. The previous US owner had it since 1988.

It has the typical heavy texture paint often seen on hkp (i.e SE) helmets.

Asking £315 plus shipping. I accept PayPal.

    Regards, Paul
