Description: I'm selling my restored helmet collection.starting with this q66 m40.the shell and aluminum liner band are original german ww2, strap, leather, pins and leather band are repro.the liner band is dated 1938 and its the reenforced type.the decal are by a small company out in france.paint is custom mixed humbrol with aluminum oxide mixed in to it. I started by painting it early appke green followed by a tan, green and brown panzer chamo scheme..
